Do you need a computer? Only for one of the two options.
The Garmin R50 needs no PC — it plugs straight into the projector over HDMI and plays full courses on the big screen on its own. The Uneekor Eye Mini runs on simulator software (GSPro) that needs a Windows machine, so a sim-spec gaming laptop (£1,595) is included with that option only. Each option's price below already reflects this.

Why the R50 is my recommendation — and the honest trade
It fits your brief almost exactly: clear shot data, genuinely good course play, and no fuss. It drives the projector on its own, so there's no computer to buy or maintain, and it's the best value here by some distance. The honest trade is realism — Home Tee Hero's courses are very good, but not quite GSPro's photo-real standard. If that top tier of visuals matters to you, that's the Eye Mini (and the gaming laptop it needs). For how you described playing, the R50 is the one I'd fit.
A note on placement — including mounting off the ceiling
Both units sit on the floor just beside the ball — tidy, portable, and nothing fixed to the structure. If you'd rather keep the floor completely clear and have the monitor mounted overhead from the ceiling, the alternative is Uneekor's ceiling-mounted EYE XO2 — a step up in cost, but the cleanest possible hitting area. Happy to spec that route instead if you'd prefer it.
What each one measures
Both cover everything that tells you where the ball went — comfortably more than enough for what you're after. The Eye Mini simply captures the finest club and impact detail, which is where its extra cost goes.
