The trade-offClub data is the R50’s softer spot — it uses the included clubface sticker and won’t match a Foresight for pro-level club numbers. If club data is your priority over convenience, look at the GC3 or Eye Mini.
What it costs to runThe R50 plays free on its own screen. Home Tee Hero and online play use a Garmin Golf membership (£8.99 a month or £89.99 a year). GSPro or E6 add a gaming PC — only if you want them.

Three years with Home Tee Hero

£4,148.97

The launch monitor plus its running costs over three years. Building a room around it is the package price instead.

The R50 + Enclosure package from £7,199 includes the enclosure, projector, mat and protection with the package saving in the price.

The questions everyone asks

Do I need a PC or laptop?

No. The R50 runs its simulator on its own 10-inch touchscreen, and one HDMI lead sends it to a projector. GSPro or E6 would need a gaming PC, but you don’t need one to start.

Are there any ongoing costs?

The R50 plays free on its own screen. Home Tee Hero’s 43,000+ courses and online play use a Garmin Golf membership at £8.99 a month or £89.99 a year.

Can I add a SimSpace room around it later?

Yes. Every launch monitor here is the one we fit in our SimSpace rooms, so you can start with the unit and add the enclosure, projector and mat when you are ready — or take the room package now and save the package discount. The tiles above show both.

We have left and right handers — does it work for both?

Yes. A mixed household simply switches sides between players; Tom will confirm the placement for your room.
