Prepared for you · October 2026
New build · Garmin Approach R50 · SIM 2 bay
Your golf room, designed before the walls go up.
Here are three complete rooms sized to your 3.3 × 5m, with every cost on the table and the one I'd build for you marked.
That's the Garmin Approach R50 room I'd build, ready-filled at £7,549.00. Each room below has its own basket.
Your room — 3.3 × 5m, drawn to scale
Your space
Your space: 3.3 × 5m
Drawn to your measurements: 3.3m wide, 5m long and 2.9m high — Building a dedicated room from scratch, planned 3.3m W x 5m D x 2.9m H. Door on the side wall, close to the screen wall, can't be moved.
Worth sorting before it arrives:
- A double socket at the screen end for the projector and the R50, plus one by the hitting area.
- A clear run along the floor for the 10m HDMI lead to the projector.
- Blinds on any windows — a darker room gives a sharper picture.
- 30cm clear behind the bay and 8cm either side, so the screen can give with each shot.

A to-scale render of your 3.3 × 5m room with the SIM 2 bay, the Garmin Approach R50 and the projector in place. Every dot opens the product and its price.
Please note
A render, not a photo: it shows the kit to scale in a plain room. Doors, windows and finishes are not drawn.
In every room
The kit every room shares
Whichever you choose, you get the complete room. Only the launch monitor changes.

The decision
Three complete rooms, compared
Each is itemised, priced live today, with its own basket.
The Square Golf room
The value pick — camera accuracy without the price tag
Worth knowing
The trade-off: Less club data than the premium camera units — fine for course play and practice, not a fitting studio.
The Garmin Approach R50 room
The self-contained pick — built-in screen, no PC required to start
Worth knowing
The trade-off: Projected course play at its best still wants a gaming PC and GSPro — the built-in screen is the starting point, not the ceiling.
The Uneekor Eye Mini Lite room
The serious-practice pick — pro-grade camera data, sensible money
Worth knowing
The trade-off: Club-face fitting data is the step-up Eye Mini’s territory — this is the practice tier.
Why I'd build the Garmin Approach R50 room
The self-contained pick — built-in screen, no PC required to start. It fits your 3.3 × 5m room in a SIM 2 bay, with nothing needed behind the ball.
The trade-off: Projected course play at its best still wants a gaming PC and GSPro — the built-in screen is the starting point, not the ceiling.
What I've assumed
The room is drawn for a right-handed golfer.
The projector sits in its floor case in front of you — prefer it on the ceiling? I'll swap it.
We haven't talked budget, so I've recommended the best-value room that fits rather than the most expensive.
No gaming PC needed: the Garmin Approach R50 runs the simulator itself.
If any of that's wrong, tell me and I'll redraw it.
Please note

The courses · Home Tee Hero on the Garmin R50
Courses: play Augusta, Pebble and 43,000 more.
Home Tee Hero comes on the R50 and plays on its own 10" screen or on your projector over HDMI, with more than 43,000 courses. Fifteen are rebuilt in higher detail, including Augusta National and Pebble Beach.
Play
- Full rounds, stroke play
