Your Multi-Sport Sim Bay — Prepared for Tom

Prepared for Tom · July 2026

One bay, every sport

A full simulator setup for your camp.

You asked for a full sim setup that includes multi sports, in a room that takes a 3m × 3m × 3m enclosure, with a working ceiling of £20–25k while funding is confirmed. Here are three complete, brand-name packages — pictured, itemised, and with every running cost on the table — built so you can drop the numbers straight into a funding case.

Your space

Will each package fit? The honest footprints

Your room takes a 3m × 3m × 3m enclosure with a 3m ceiling. Each package below has a different footprint — here's how they compare, and what we confirm at survey.

Full Swing KIT Studio+
3.0 × 2.5 × 1.5m — fits as stated · and Full Swing offer a 3 × 3 × 3m version at the same price — your exact dimensions
GCQuad Sim-in-a-Box
3.77m wide × 2.77m high · needs ~0.8m more width than a 3m enclosure — we confirm your wall-to-wall width at survey; Foresight offer custom sizing if it's tight
Trackman 4 SimBox
Needs ~5m of room depth · the radar sits behind the golfer and watches the whole flight — the deepest requirement of the three

The one measurement that decides this

All three clear your 3m ceiling comfortably. What we need before ordering is your room's full internal length and width — not just the enclosure space. Send the wall-to-wall figures (a phone photo of a tape measure is fine) and I'll tell you same-day which packages fit without compromise.

The decision

Three packages, pictured and priced complete

These are complete branded packages rather than component builds — each arrives as one system. Where a package needs anything extra to switch on (only the Trackman does), it's itemised below the card, not hidden.

Completing the Trackman — the £4,854.99, itemised

The Trackman package arrives without a projector or computer, so an honest comparison adds them: BenQ AH500ST short-throw laser projector + floor case £1,849.00 · GolfBays 4K-spec gaming PC £2,590.00 · 27" bay-side monitor £198.00 · wireless keyboard & mouse £39.00 · 10m HDMI 2.1 £29.99 · our PC set-up service £149.00. The other two packages include their projector and laptop in the box.

The honest bit

Where "multi sports" stands with these three

Included with these packages: games nights, played with golf balls

The Sim-in-a-Box includes Foresight's Fairgrounds pack (skee-ball, darts, bowling and more), the KIT Studio+ has Full Swing's games library, and Trackman's Virtual Golf brings mini-games and closest-to-the-pin contests. All are genuinely good social content for a shared facility — but every shot is struck with a golf club and ball.

If "multi sports" means kicking a real football, say the word

None of these three packages tracks a football. Within sensible money that remains the territory of Foresight's ceiling-mounted GCHawk — real-ball penalties, corners and passing drills plus footgolf — which we can build into a complete bay for around £28.7k. If football is central to the camp's funding case, tell me and I'll put it back on this page as a fourth option. (And for completeness: the Full Swing Pro 2.0's 30-game arcade is ~£50k+ installed — double your ceiling, so I haven't built your options around it.)

Software

What's included and what it costs to run

This is where hidden costs usually hide, so here it is in full — including the one package that carries an annual fee after year one.

Software route KIT Studio+ Trackman 4 GCQuad Sim-in-a-Box
Included in the box what you play from day one Full Swing software pre-loaded on the included laptop, with games library Trackman Performance Studio + Virtual Golf 400+ courses in 4K — first year included Full FSX suite FSX Play (25 courses), FSX Pro analytics + Fairgrounds games — no subscription, ever
Ongoing cost the number funding cases forget £0 mandatory optional expanded libraries ~£240–£480/yr ~£850/yr after year one Trackman's subscription keeps Virtual Golf courses, cloud history and tournaments live £0 mandatory everything included is yours outright
GSPro — the community favourite 200,000+ real courses, best-in-class realism · optional ~£200/yr KIT connects directly — no gateway fee Not officially supported ~£200/yr supported via the included FSX licence — no gateway fee

One note for a shared facility: software licences for communal settings can differ from home-use terms by vendor. We'll confirm the correct licence tier for a camp welfare facility in the formal quotation, so there are no surprises after installation.

Total cost of ownership

The 10-year picture — nothing hidden

Option Complete upfront Mandatory software / yr 10-year total ≈ per year over 10
The Turnkey Value · KIT Studio+ £16,800.00 £0 £16,800.00 £1,680
The Tour Name · Trackman 4 (completed) £23,785.99 ~£850 after yr 1 £31,435.99 £3,144
The Reference Bay · GCQuad Sim-in-a-Box £25,188.00 inc VAT £0 £25,188.00 £2,519

The Trackman's 10-year figure includes nine renewal years of its subscription — it's a superb machine, but over a decade it quietly becomes the most expensive option here. The Sim-in-a-Box costs more on day one and then never again. For a facility the whole camp shares, every option works out at pennies per player per session.

  • VAT, stated plainly. The Sim-in-a-Box is listed ex VAT (£20,990) — £25,188.00 with VAT included; the other two figures shown are as listed. If the camp's funding route reclaims VAT, the Sim-in-a-Box lands comfortably inside your ceiling.
  • No permanent installation required on any option — the Sim-in-a-Box self-assembles in an afternoon; the others are freestanding enclosures.
  • One wear item. The impact screen — a replacement is hundreds, not thousands, even with heavy traffic.
  • Formal quotation on letterhead available for any option — built for funding applications and procurement paperwork.

Let's pressure-test it on a video call

Before any funding paperwork, let's get 20 minutes on a call — I'll show you the software running, we'll check your room's real measurements against each footprint, and I'll turn whichever option fits into a formal quotation the same day.
