Sizes are the width × height × depth of the enclosure itself. Leave 30cm behind the screen and 10cm each side, allow about 1.5m in front of the bay to stand and swing, and a 2.7m ceiling to swing a driver freely (2.8m is ideal).

The trade-offAt 1m deep the SLIM gives less cover around the ball than a 1.5m bay, which is why side netting is included. If you have about 3.3m of room depth, a Sim 2 puts more enclosure around you.

The questions everyone asks

Will it fit my room?

The bay itself is 3.3 × 2.5 × 1m (width × height × depth). Leave 30cm behind the screen and 10cm each side, and allow about 1.5m in front of the bay to stand and swing, so plan on a room about 2.8m deep. Use the room check above, or send Tom your measurements for a free 3D design before you order.

What ceiling height do I need?

The bay is 2.5m high, so the ceiling has to clear that. To swing a driver freely most golfers need 2.7m, and 2.8m is ideal. If your ceiling is lower, tell Tom your height and he will be straight with you about which clubs you can use.

What is included, and what else do I need?

The push-connect metal frame, the 4K Platinum three-layer impact screen, black velour side and ceiling panels with the bungee tension system, and protective side netting with weighted bags. To make it a simulator you add a launch monitor, a projector and a hitting mat. The room packages above include all of those in one price.

Which launch monitors does it work with?

All of the ones we sell, including the Garmin R50, Foresight GC3 and GC3S, Full Swing KIT, Square Golf and Uneekor. Camera units sit beside the ball. Radar units need 2.4–3m behind the ball, so check your room depth with Tom first.

How long does it take to build?

The push-connect frame assembles in 20–30 minutes.

Can I buy the bay now and add the rest later?

Yes. Plenty of customers start with the enclosure and add the launch monitor and projector when they are ready. If you know you want the full room, the packages above carry a package saving in the price.
