Find the bay that fits your room

Sizes are the width × height × depth of the enclosure itself. Plan the room at least 3.0m wide, 4.2m long (4.3m for SIM 5 and 6; 2.8m for the 1m-deep SIM 0) and 2.7m high (3m or more is ideal), with 30cm clear behind the screen and at least 8cm each side of the outer frame.

Will a sim fit my room?

Measure inside the room, in metres. We’ll tell you honestly which size fits.

We usually look for 3.0m wide, 4.2m long and a 2.7m ceiling. Short on length? The 1m-deep SIM 0 works from 2.8m.

Ceiling under 2.7m? It can still work

Room lengths shown are for a camera unit, which sits beside the ball. Radar launch monitors sit behind it and need a longer room, per their manuals: 5.2m for the Mevo Gen2 (5.8m with SIM 5 or 6) and 5.85m for the Full Swing KIT (6.45m with SIM 5 or 6).

Get the bay right,
and the rest follows.

Every SimSpace bay is a strong metal frame with a three-layer 4K Platinum impact screen, velour side and ceiling panels and foam padding on the frame. It takes full shots quietly, shows a sharp picture, and works with every launch monitor and projector we sell.

The trade-offEvery SimSpace bay needs a room at least 4.2m long, because the ball-to-screen distance and your swing do not shrink with the bay; the 1m-deep SIM 0 takes less floor, not less length. If the room cannot be darkened, the UltraMAX grey screen holds contrast better than white.

The questions everyone asks

Will it fit my room?

The bay itself is 3.6 × 2.5 × 1.5m (width × height × depth). Plan on a room at least 3.86m wide, 4.2m long and with a 2.7m (3m or more is ideal) ceiling: that leaves 30cm clear behind the screen, at least 8cm each side of the outer frame, and room to stand and swing. Use the room check above, or send Tom your measurements for a free 3D design before you order.

What ceiling height do I need?

The bay is 2.5m high, so the ceiling has to clear that. To swing a driver freely most golfers need 2.7m, and 3m or more is ideal. If your ceiling is lower, tell Tom your height and he will be straight with you about which clubs you can use.

What is included, and what else do I need?

The metal frame, the three-layer 4K Platinum impact screen and the velour side and ceiling panels. You can add a hitting mat in the options. To make it a simulator you add a launch monitor, a projector and a hitting mat. The room packages above include all of those in one price.

Which launch monitors does it work with?

All of the ones we sell, including the Garmin Approach® R50, Foresight GC3, Full Swing KIT, Square Golf and Uneekor. Camera units sit beside the ball. Radar units sit behind you: the Mevo Gen2 manual puts it 2.4m behind the ball and the Full Swing KIT manual 3.05m (10ft), so check your room length with Tom first.

White screen or grey screen?

This bay has the white 4K Platinum screen, which suits garages and rooms you can darken. If your room has ambient light, the UltraMAX enclosure has a grey high-contrast screen in the same sizes for about £200 more.

Can I buy the bay now and add the rest later?

Yes. Plenty of customers start with the enclosure and add the launch monitor and projector when they are ready. If you know you want the full room, the packages above carry a package saving in the price.
