Foresight Sports GC3

Tour cameras.
No subscription.

Three high-speed cameras photograph the ball at impact — the same core technology as the tour-proven GCQuad — so spin, launch and club delivery are measured, not modelled. Every data point is unlocked from day one and FSX Play simulator software is included free, with GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019 and Awesome Golf all supported through the included projector.

  • Ball + club data, unlocked
  • FSX Play included — £0/yr
  • GSPro, E6, TGC, Awesome Golf
  • Indoor & outdoor

How it works

  1. 1Stand the GC3 beside the ballNo run-up behind you — it needs about 0.5m to the side, and switches sides for left and right handers.
  2. 2Three cameras photograph impactBall speed, launch, spin and spin axis measured at the ball; club speed, path, face, loft, lie and impact location too.
  3. 3Play on the big screenFSX Play is included free; GSPro or E6 if you prefer. One HDMI lead from your PC to the included short-throw projector.
Foresight Sports GC3 launch monitor

The launch monitor

GCQuad technology, home price

The GC3 is a portable photometric launch monitor built on the same three-camera core as Foresight’s tour-proven GCQuad. It captures the ball at the moment of impact rather than tracking it downrange, which is why photometric units are the accuracy benchmark indoors. A built-in screen shows your numbers on the unit; it runs indoors or out, on a battery.

  • 3 high-speed cameras
  • Built-in display
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Battery powered
Foresight GC3 ball and club data

The data

Everything unlocked, nothing to rent

Ball speed, launch angle and direction, back, side and total spin, spin axis, carry and total distance; club head speed, smash factor, angle of attack, club path, face angle, loft, lie and impact location. Unlike most rivals there is no feature gating and no monthly fee — every data point is available from day one.

The bay

A proper bay, not a net

The SimSpace enclosure’s 4K impact screen fixes under tension on all four sides — it pulls flat like a drum, so the picture stays true shot after shot. Velour side and ceiling panels, side barriers, and an aluminium push-connect frame you build in an afternoon. Seven sizes, from the shallow SLIM to the 4 × 3 × 3m SIM 6.

  • 4K impact screen
  • 7 sizes incl. SLIM
  • 20–30 min build
  • Side barriers

The picture

Short-throw, no shadows

The included BenQ AH500ST is a golf-sim short-throw: it sits low in front of you on its floor mount, filling the screen edge to edge without casting your shadow over the ball. One HDMI lead from your PC and FSX Play, GSPro or E6 is on the wall.

The honest comparison

How the Foresight GC3 compares

An honest look at where the GC3 wins — and where a GC3S, R50 or KIT is the better call.

The trade-off The GC3 needs a Windows PC or laptop to run FSX Play, GSPro or E6 on the big screen. If you want to switch on and play with no computer, the Garmin R50 does that on its own screen. If the GC3’s price is the stretch, the GC3S gives you Foresight’s three-camera accuracy with a built-in touchscreen for about £3,300 less.
What it costs to run Nothing, unless you choose to. FSX Play is included with every data point unlocked. GSPro (about £250/yr) or E6 are optional. The only extra most buyers add is a gaming PC or laptop if they don’t already have one — the full breakdown is below.

Total cost, no surprises

What it really costs to own

The package price is the big number. Here is everything else, so there is nothing to discover after delivery.

Three years, no subscription

£10,599

The package price is the three-year price with your own PC — FSX Play costs nothing to keep. Add a gaming laptop and it is about £12,194; add GSPro and it is about £11,349 more over three years.

The GC3S package is about £3,300 less (built-in touchscreen, FSX Play included); the GCQuad package is the tour unit — the option tiles above put them side by side.

The questions everyone asks

What ceiling height do I need?

2.8m is ideal; 2.7m is workable for most golfers. The enclosure itself is 2.5m tall and needs a little clearance. If you’re between those numbers, a few full driver swings in the room will settle it — or send us a video and we’ll tell you.

Do I need a PC or laptop?

Yes, for the big screen. FSX Play, GSPro and E6 run on a Windows PC or laptop connected to the projector. Add one from the extras above or use your own; the GC3’s built-in screen shows your numbers without one.

Is there really no subscription?

Correct. The GC3 unlocks every data point from day one and FSX Play is included. GSPro or E6 are optional extras if you prefer their courses, and Foresight’s LINK feature pairs it with the Bushnell Pro X3 rangefinder on the course.

GC3 or GC3S — what is the difference?

Same three cameras and the same accuracy. The GC3 includes full club data; the GC3S ships with ball data only and club data can be added later as a one-off upgrade. If you are mainly playing courses rather than analysing your delivery, the GC3S package saves about £3,300.

How does the GC3 compare with a Garmin R50 or the Full Swing KIT?

The GC3 is the club-data and accuracy benchmark at home, with no subscription. The R50 is simpler — it runs its own simulator with no PC. The KIT is radar-based, needs 2.4–3m behind the ball and records 240fps swing video. The comparison table above is the honest version.

What exactly is in the box?

Your chosen SimSpace enclosure with 4K impact screen and side barriers, the Foresight Sports GC3 with FSX Play, the BenQ AH500ST short-throw projector with floor case and mount, the Tee Turf hitting mat with rubber base, and the setup guide.

We have left and right handers — does it work for both?

Yes. The GC3 stands beside the ball and switches sides in seconds, so a mixed household just moves it across the mat between players.

Can I have the GC3 with a net, or step up to the GCQuad?

Yes. The options under the buy box show the four ways: the GC3 with a practice net, this SimSpace room, the GC3S room if budget is the stretch, or the GCQuad room for the tour unit. Not sure? A free design consultation sorts it in one message.
