Golf simulators for business

Golf simulators for business

Sim hire, venues and studios, costed and set up properly.

Five businesses asked us this month for the same thing: a complete, professional simulator set-up, the running costs alongside, and someone who'll say plainly what works. This page is that, for mobile hire, bars and venues, coaching studios and corporate days. Every price is live, inc. VAT.

Who this is for

Mobile hire

Weddings, parties, corporate days and shows. A kit that goes inside your inflatable, packs into a van and sets up in about 15 minutes.

Bars, venues and hotels

A fixed bay that takes volume: a SimSpace enclosure, a screen rated for it, an overhead launch monitor out of everyone's way, and software with leaderboards.

Coaching and fitting studios

Overhead cameras for lessons, or the Foresight GCQuad beside the ball for fitting data, in a bay sized for a full driver swing.

Offices and clubhouses

A members' or staff bay with no PC to look after: the Garmin R50 runs the simulator itself.

Mobile hire kits

Three kits that go inside your inflatable

We don't make inflatables; yours comes from an inflatable maker with its impact screen and your branding printed on it. Everything below goes inside it and works with any inflatable that meets the checklist further down.

Your inflatable

What to ask the inflatable maker

Screen and size

An impact screen included, 3m wide or more. At least 4.5m from the screen to the back of the hitting area, and 3m of headroom for a driver.

Floor, power and anchoring

A floor or ground sheet the mat sits flat on. The blower's power need. Anchoring and the wind rating for outdoor events.

Certificates and transport

Fire-retardant fabric with a certificate (hotels ask). Packed size and weight for the van. Logo printing if you want branding.

Screen life

Ask the material and whether the screen is replaceable. As a guide, SimSpace rates its own screens from 5,000 to 30,000 shots; a busy event is a few hundred.

Set-up at each event

What each kit needs on the day

The ball sits 2.5m from the screen. The projector sits in its floor case, centred, about 0.9 × the screen's height away from it (2.04m for a 2.3m-high screen), with its Screen Fill set to the screen's shape. Work out the exact distance for your screen.

Commercial simulators

Three commercial simulators, all overhead

For a venue, studio or clubhouse we recommend an overhead launch monitor every time: it mounts on the ceiling, so there's nothing on the floor for guests to kick or knock out of line, left- and right-handers play without anything being moved, and the unit is wired to the PC rather than relying on a battery or Wi-Fi. These three are the ones we'd put in a commercial bay.

Trackman Trackman iO ceiling-mounted launch monitor in a simulator bay

Trackman iO Commercial

£—the unit, inc. VAT
  • Ceiling-mounted on VESA hardware or a drop-down pole; 333 × 333 × 107mm, 3.9kg
  • Radar, infrared and high-speed imaging with measured 3D spin; no markers on club or ball; no minimum space front or back
  • Commercial licence: full club data (face angle, path, face to path, impact height and offset, dynamic loft, spin loft, attack angle) plus the full ball set
What's included and what completes the bay
  • Trackman iO unit with built-in target-alignment camera and dual processor; wired to the PC by Ethernet
  • Trackman software and the Commercial licence, priced with the unit
  • The maker's box contents (mount, leads) are confirmed on your proposal before you order
  • To complete the bay: PC to Trackman's spec (i7/i9, 32GB, RTX 4070 Ti, two Ethernet ports), SimSpace enclosure with impact screen, BenQ projector on a ceiling mount, hitting mat, protection
See the Trackman iO ↗
Foresight Foresight Falcon overhead launch monitor

Foresight Falcon

£—the unit, inc. VAT
  • Foresight's overhead photometric unit, the replacement for the GCHawk: the GCQuad's camera technology looking down on the hitting area
  • Nothing on the floor, no alignment between shots, left- and right-handers without moving anything
  • Ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry and total; club speed, attack angle, club path and face angle
What's included and what completes the bay
  • Falcon unit for permanent ceiling mounting (a 2.9 to 3.2m ceiling), wired to the PC
  • Foresight Premier software with the 30-day Foresight+ trial; Foresight+ and Course Pass or GSPro after that
  • The maker's box contents (mount, leads) are confirmed on your proposal before you order
  • To complete the bay: Windows gaming PC, SimSpace enclosure with impact screen, BenQ projector on a ceiling mount, hitting mat, protection. Foresight's own "Sim in a Box" packages bundle the enclosure, screen, projector, PC cart, turf and mat; we build the same around a SimSpace bay
See the Falcon ↗
Full Swing Full Swing Sports Series simulator bay, standard size

Full Swing Sports Series

On applicationcomplete bay
  • Overhead ION3 camera plus four high-speed line-scan cameras (Full Swing's dual tracking)
  • Golf and 13 sports in one bay, with Swing Catalyst analysis built in
  • Two bay sizes: 3.05m high × 3.81m wide × 6.1m deep, or widescreen 5.03m wide × 6.7m deep
What's included
  • A complete Full Swing bay: the dual-tracking cameras, enclosure and impact screen, projector and PC, Full Swing Golf with 50+ courses, Full Swing Games (13 sports) and swing analysis
  • Full Swing quote the bay for your room and install it; we design the room around it and specify the floor, protection and wiring
  • The itemised list and price come from Full Swing on your proposal
Ask about the Sports Series ↗

Each is specified into the bay on your proposal page with the enclosure, screen, projector, mat, PC and protection sized to the room, and the running costs alongside.

Overhead on a tighter budget

Uneekor EYE XO2 package

from £—inc. VAT
  • Overhead cameras, full ball and club data, no stickers or marked balls
  • SimSpace enclosure with impact screen, Tee Turf mat, BenQ projector on a mount
  • GSPro, E6 Connect or Uneekor's software on a PC
See the package ↗

Uneekor EYE XR bay

£—the unit, inc. VAT
  • Rear-mounted overhead unit, so the front of the bay stays open
  • 19 data parameters including club data, no ball markings
  • Priced into a SimSpace bay with the projector, mat and PC on your proposal
See the unit ↗

Fitting studios and coaching: the floor units

Where a coach or fitter stands with the player, a floor unit beside the ball earns its place for the club data it captures.

Fitting standard

Foresight GCQuad package

from £—inc. VAT
  • Four cameras: ball and club data including face angle, dynamic loft and impact location
  • The unit fitting studios and tour vans run
  • Foresight's software or GSPro with Foresight+ Gold
See the package ↗

Foresight GC3 package

from £—inc. VAT
  • Three cameras, tour-grade ball data, club speed, path, attack angle and smash
  • Foresight+ plans from $494 a year for course play
See the package ↗

Garmin R50 package

from £—inc. VAT
  • No PC: the simulator is built in, 43,000+ courses for £89.99 a year
  • The clubhouse or office bay nobody has to look after
See the package ↗

Screens for volume

SimSpace's Platinum screen is rated for a minimum of 30,000 shots; a double-sided screen flips when one face wears. For the heaviest use, a commercial archery-baffle screen takes more again.

Protection

Bevelled foam tiles on the side walls and ceiling of the bay, side netting for an open side, and a bumper pack over the bar under the screen.

Room and wiring

Minimum 3.0m wide, 2.7m ceiling, 4.2m long per bay; overhead units need the ceiling fixing and a wired run to the PC. The first-fix brief and the wiring guide cover sockets, leads and sound.

Buildings

No room yet? Our build partner designs and constructs insulated golf cabins and studios around the bay: see golf cabins.

Questions people ask

Why do you recommend an overhead launch monitor for a business?

Three reasons. Nothing sits on the floor, so guests can't kick it, trip on it or move it out of alignment. Left- and right-handers play without anything being repositioned between them. And the unit is fixed and wired to the PC, so it isn't relying on a battery or a Wi-Fi link in a busy room. Our three commercial simulators are the Trackman iO, Foresight's Falcon and Full Swing's Sports Series, with the Uneekor EYE XO2 as the overhead option on a tighter budget.

Do the makers' licences and warranties cover commercial use?

Running paid events or a paid bay is commercial use. Before you order we confirm with Garmin, Foresight, Uneekor and GSPro whether their software needs a commercial licence for your use and what their warranties cover, and we put the answer on your proposal page.

Do you offer trade pricing?

No. Our prices are the same for everyone, inc. VAT, and VAT-registered businesses reclaim the VAT.

Can the projector hang from the inflatable's roof?

We'd advise against it. The BenQ AH500ST weighs 5.1kg before its mount and has to sit level and centred about 2m from the screen; a fabric roof moves with blower pressure and wind, so the picture drifts. The steel floor case takes a low shot and sits between the mat and the screen where nobody walks, with the HDMI lead in a cable cover.

Which balls should guests use?

Clean, unmarked mid-range balls. Soft urethane covers such as Pro V1 and TP5 are the hardest on impact screens, and marked balls mark the screen.

Can we go to 4K later?

Yes, with any of the kits. A laptop or PC running GSPro draws the picture, so a laptop plus a 4K projector (BenQ AK700ST) takes a kit to 4K. The Garmin R50 on its own outputs 1080p.

Does the R50 work on an iPad?

No. It runs the simulator on its own 10" screen and sends the picture to the projector over HDMI. The Garmin Golf app on a phone or tablet shows stats and shot history afterwards.

Do you install?

We supply and support. SimSpace enclosures assemble in under an hour with two people, and we arrange a demonstration and training for your team. Buildings and electrics are your builder's and electrician's scope; every proposal carries a first-fix brief for them.

Do you sell inflatables?

No. The inflatable and its impact screen come from an inflatable maker, and that's where the branding goes. Send us the ones you're considering and we'll check each against the checklist above.
