Bay size guide
Sizes are width × height × depth of the enclosure itself. Plan a room at least 3.0m wide, 2.7m high (3m or more is ideal) and 4.2m long (4.3m for SIM 5 and 6), with 30cm behind the screen and 8cm clear each side of the frame.
| Bay | Metres (W×H×D) | Screen | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| SIM 0 | 3.3 × 2.5 × 1 | 1.3:1 | Tight-depth rooms |
| SIM 1 | 2.6 × 2.5 × 1.5 | 1.0:1 | Single garages |
| SIM 2 | 3 × 2.5 × 1.5 | 1.2:1 | Most garages |
| SIM 3 | 3.6 × 2.5 × 1.5 | 1.4:1 | Wider rooms |
| SIM 4 | 4 × 2.5 × 1.5 | 1.6:1 | Double garages |
| SIM 5 | 3 × 3 × 3 | 1.0:1 | High ceilings, full depth |
| SIM 6 | 4 × 3 × 3 | 1.3:1 | Dedicated sim rooms |
The Square Golf sits to the side of the ball — no extra depth needed behind you.

A starter home golf simulator at the entry price: the SimSpace SLIM enclosure (3.3 m wide, 2.5 m high, 1 m deep, side netting included) with its impact screen, and the Garmin Approach R10 launch monitor. Hit real balls into the screen and see every shot on your phone or tablet with the Garmin Golf app; add a projector later when you want the picture on the screen. Needs a room at least 3.5 m wide and 2.7 m high. UK delivery £5.
Hitting mat and projector are available as add-ons below.

Square Golf
Square Golf uses a high-speed camera with built-in infrared lighting, in a compact unit that sits beside the ball. It reads ball speed, launch, spin and spin axis, plus club head speed, smash factor, attack angle, path and face — and drives 3D courses on the big screen through the included projector. The most affordable way into a full SimSpace room.
The launch monitor
Square Golf pairs a high-speed camera and built-in infrared lighting with machine-vision processing in one compact box. It gives you the numbers a starter sim needs — ball speed, launch, spin, spin axis and the core club data — without the price of a photometric tour unit.
The data
Ball speed, launch angle, side angle, back, side and total spin and spin axis; club head speed, smash factor, angle of attack, club path and face angle. That covers the faults that cost most amateurs shots. If you want loft, lie and impact location, the Eye Mini or a Foresight is the step up.
The bay
The SimSpace enclosure’s 4K impact screen fixes under tension on all four sides — it pulls flat like a drum, so the picture stays true shot after shot. Velour side and ceiling panels and an aluminium push-connect frame you build in an afternoon. Seven sizes, from the shallow SIM 0 to the 4 × 3 × 3m SIM 6.
The picture
The included BenQ AH500ST is a golf-sim short-throw: it sits low in front of you on its floor mount, filling the screen edge to edge without casting your shadow over the ball. One lead from your device and the Square Golf courses are on the wall.

One-off
Every year
Three years
£1,420.99
The package price is the three-year price if you play in the Square Golf app; add a laptop or GSPro only if you want them.
The Mevo Gen2 room is the next step up on data and outdoor use; the Eye Mini Lite room on club data.
2.7m is the minimum for a full driver swing, and 3m or more is ideal. The SIM 0 to SIM 4 bays are 2.5m tall; SIM 5 and SIM 6 are 3m tall and need a ceiling of at least 3.1m. If you’re between those numbers, a few full driver swings in the room will settle it — or send us a video and we’ll tell you.
Not to start: Square Golf runs from its app on a phone or tablet and the included projector shows it on the wall. A laptop or PC is only needed if you later want third-party simulator software.
Square Golf is the most affordable way into a full room and reads club path and face as standard; the Mevo Gen2 only adds them with the paid FlightScope Pro Package. The Mevo is radar and better outdoors; the R50 runs a simulator with no device at all. The table above is the honest version.
Your chosen SimSpace enclosure with 4K impact screen, the Square Golf, the BenQ AH500ST short-throw projector with floor case and mount, the Tee Turf hitting mat, and the setup guide. Side netting is available as an add-on (the SIM 0 bay comes with its own).
Yes. A mixed household simply switches sides on the mat between players; Tom will confirm the launch monitor placement for your room.
Yes. The options under the buy box show the four ways: with a practice net, this SimSpace room, and the step-down and step-up rooms in the same range. Not sure? A free design consultation sorts it in one message.
