The cage is 10ft × 10ft × 10ft (3.1m long × 3.1m wide × 3.1m high) — a full cube with comfortable driver clearance for golfers of any height. The hitting mat is 5ft × 5ft (1.52m square). Site the cage on any flat, stable surface — lawn, patio or decking — and allow around a metre of clearance behind the impact end so the netting can flex. The cage: 11 × 42mm galvanised steel bars, 6 × three-way grub-screw corner joints, 2 × two-way corner joints, full 10×10×10 enclosure net (2.3mm knotless weatherproof twine), heavy-duty archery-grade impact panel, tie twine, cable ties and step-by-step installation guide.

With your chosen mat: 5ft × 5ft hitting mat, pro anti-skid rubber base and rubber ball tray. Nothing else to buy — balls and tees are all you need.

Two adults, basic tools (spanner, Allen key, rubber mallet, stepladder) and roughly 60–90 minutes. The frame goes together with grub-screw corner joints — no welding, no concrete. The red tab on the netting marks the front so it can't go on backwards; attach the top corners first, then the sides. On grass, U-peg ground anchors keep the cage planted (keep it anchored whenever it's up).

Everyday tools most households already own — nothing specialist needed:

Galvanised steel and weatherproof knotless twine are made to live outside all year round. Give the fixings a quick check periodically, and in severe storms or very high winds we recommend dropping the netting. Every component — nets, bars, joints — is available as a UK spare, so the cage is a buy-once purchase you can maintain forever.
