Product Overview
The full-flight club golf cage: at 3.8m tall this is the highest cage we sell — a 3m × 3m × 3.8m galvanised steel bay with genuine head-height clearance for high ball flights. Hit every club in the bag, wedges to driver, without feeling the roof. It is the closest thing to a real driving-range bay you can put in a garden, club or coaching facility — and it links side-by-side into 2 and 3 bay runs.
The linkscube XL Golf Club Cage is built from 48mm galvanised steel tubing with heavy-duty fixings for rust-resistant, year-round outdoor use. The fully enclosed high-tenacity 22mm golf netting absorbs full-speed drives, and an integrated baffle panel behind the hitting zone takes the repeated impact and minimises bounce-back, keeping every session safe and controlled.
Why the extra height matters: a standard 3m-tall cage contains your shots, but a lofted wedge climbs fast — taller players and steeper swings can feel closed in. At 3.8m (12.5ft) the XL gives your ball flight room to climb the way it would at the range, so you get honest feedback on strike and flight window with every club.
Choose your setup:
- Cage Only — the complete 3m × 3m × 3.8m (L × W × H) linkscube XL bay: 48mm galvanised steel frame, high-tenacity enclosure netting and integrated impact baffle
- With Hitting Mat — adds a premium 5ft × 5ft golf hitting mat per bay for a complete stand-and-hit practice station
- Rubber Mat Base — adds a heavy rubber base under the mat to lift it level and stop it creeping between shots
- 1, 2 or 3 Bays — run cages side-by-side for a multi-bay club or coaching setup; each bay is a full 3m-wide hitting station
One bay makes a serious garden or garage-apron practice cage for a player who wants full-flight clearance. Two and three bay runs are how golf clubs, academies and coaches build a covered practice line — each player in their own fully enclosed 3m bay, all at genuine club height.
- 3m × 3m × 3.8m (approx. 10ft × 10ft × 12.5ft) per bay [L × W × H] — the tallest cage in our range
- 48mm galvanised steel tube frame with heavy-duty fixings — weatherproof and rust-resistant
- High-tenacity 22mm golf netting, fully enclosed on all sides and roof
- Integrated impact baffle behind the hitting zone minimises bounce-back
- Multi-bay configurations share the practice line — order 2 or 3 bays for club and coaching setups
- Optional 5ft × 5ft hitting mat and rubber mat base per bay complete each hitting station
Delivery: this is a heavy multi-box steel kit — each bay ships as its own frame and net set (mats and bases box separately). We’ll confirm your delivery details after ordering, and for 2–3 bay club orders we’re happy to talk through access and site prep first — message us on WhatsApp before you buy.
Planning where your cage will go? Read our guide: How to Build a Base for a Garden Golf Cage — grass, platform or sub-base. It covers starting on grass with U-pegs, the exact sub-base build we recommend (with real costs), anchoring on every surface, and finishing around the base with bark or artificial turf.

Assembling Your Golf Cage
Two people, everyday tools — spanner, Allen key, ratchet with sockets, rubber mallet and a stepladder for the roof netting. For 2 and 3 bay runs, allow extra time to link the bays together.
- The 48mm steel frame assembles with corner joints and heavy-duty fixings — freestanding, no concrete needed.
- The integrated baffle panel sits behind the hitting zone; fit the enclosure netting over the frame, top corners first.
- Keep the cage ground-anchored whenever it's up. Message Tom on WhatsApp if you'd like a walkthrough before you buy.
