Which golf simulator software works with my launch monitor?
The short answer
It depends on the launch monitor. Garmin R50 and R10, FlightScope Mevo Gen2 and Square Golf officially run GSPro, E6 Connect and Awesome Golf with no maker plan. Foresight, Uneekor and Rapsodo need a paid maker plan first. SkyTrak has no official third-party confirmation. GSPro always needs a Windows PC.
How to read the table
Each row is a launch monitor we sell. Each column is a piece of software. I've only put Yes where the launch monitor maker or the software maker says so on its own website, and I checked every one on 6 October 2026. Where neither of them says so, the cell says Check. That doesn't always mean it won't work. Some launch monitors connect to GSPro through its OpenAPI or a community connector. It means nobody official has confirmed it, so ask before you buy.
The last two columns matter as much as the software ones: what the maker gives you itself, and whether you need a Windows PC to play.
Three things that decide it
Does the launch monitor need its own plan first?
On some launch monitors the third-party software is locked behind the maker's own plan, and you pay for that on top of the software.
- Foresight GC3, GCHawk and Falcon: Foresight says third-party software such as GSPro "is not supported for Silver members or free users". You need Foresight+ Gold, at $599 a year, and GSPro is then a separate subscription.
- Uneekor Eye Mini, Eye Mini Lite, EYE XO2 and EYE XR: GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019 and Creative Golf need Uneekor Pro or above. Pro is $199 a year per unit.
- Rapsodo MLM2PRO: Rapsodo lists GSPro, E6 and Awesome Golf as part of Premium Membership.
- Square Golf and the OMNI don't need a Square Golf plan. You buy a GSPro Square licence, or E6 or Awesome Golf, from that software's maker.
Does it need a Windows PC?
GSPro runs on Windows 10 or 11 only. So does Foresight Premier, Foresight's course software. Uneekor's VIEW and REFINE need a Windows PC, Golfzon's Vision WAVE is PC only, and Full Swing GOLF for KIT comes with the KIT Studio PC packages.
If you'd rather not run a PC, these work without one:
- The Garmin Approach R50 plays Home Tee Hero on its own screen and sends it to a projector by HDMI.
- The Garmin R10 runs Home Tee Hero in the separate Home Tee Hero phone app.
- Square Golf runs from its own app on iOS and Android.
- The Mevo Gen2 and LaunchBox play E6 courses on iOS.
- Awesome Golf runs on iOS, Android and Apple Silicon Macs.
Is the software still sold?
Two of the four big names are changing.
- TruGolf says E6 Golf 2026 replaces and expands on E6 Connect. Some launch monitor makers still sell E6 Connect plans, so check which version you're getting.
- Garmin's own staff say TGC 2019 does not work with the R50. I couldn't find a current official page that sells TGC 2019. Retailers still list it, but trade reports say ProTee, which runs it, has stopped selling it. I wouldn't plan a new room around it.
Where the gaps are
SkyTrak+ and the ST MAX are the biggest gaps. SkyTrak's current UK membership pages cover its own course play, but they don't mention GSPro, E6 or Awesome Golf. Neither GSPro's nor Awesome Golf's list includes SkyTrak. If third-party software matters to you, check with SkyTrak before you buy.
The Golfzon WAVE is officially E6 only, outside Golfzon's own software. The TruGolf LaunchBox comes with E6 CONNECT Home. The NVisage NEO-E comes with NVisage's own MURLIE software, and its maker's page doesn't name any third-party software. For the SwingLogic SLX Hybrid Mini, SwingLogic sells an E6 licence key; GSPro is only named for SwingLogic's MicroSim.
One I've left out
I've left the PRGR HS 130-A out of the table. It measures head speed, ball speed and estimated distance and shows them on its own display. The model we sell has no app or PC link, so it can't drive simulator software. It's a good practice tool, but it isn't a simulator launch monitor.
What I'd do
Choose the software you want to play first, then check its row here, then add up the yearly cost. A launch monitor that needs a maker's plan as well as GSPro costs more each year than one that connects directly. What golf simulator software costs each year sets out the exact prices for each launch monitor. GSPro, E6 Connect, Awesome Golf and TGC compared explains how the four differ.

| Rapsodo MLM2PRO | Yes (Premium) | Yes (Premium) | Yes (Premium) | Check | Rapsodo app | No |
Yes means the launch monitor maker or software maker confirms it on its own site. Check means no official confirmation was found. It may still work through GSPro's OpenAPI or a connector, so ask before you buy. GSPro always needs a Windows PC, whatever the launch monitor. The PRGR HS 130-A is left out because it has no simulator connection.
Best practice
- Pick the software firstDecide what you want to play, such as GSPro's community courses or a no-PC app, then shortlist the launch monitors with a Yes in that column.
- Add the maker plan to the costOn Foresight, Uneekor and Rapsodo, third-party software needs the maker's paid plan as well as the software subscription. Budget for both each year.
- Check the PC columnGSPro, Foresight Premier, Uneekor VIEW and REFINE, Vision WAVE and Full Swing GOLF all run on a Windows PC. Plan its place in the room and its cabling.
- Ask about any Check cellCheck means no official page confirms it. Ask the maker, or ask us, before you rely on a community connector to run your room.
Gotchas to avoid
- Assuming every app runs everywhereAwesome Golf's own list names only the Eye Mini from Uneekor's range. The Eye Mini Lite, EYE XO2 and EYE XR aren't on it.
- Buying TGC 2019 for an R50Garmin's staff say TGC 2019 does not work with the Approach R50. Retail listings for TGC 2019 don't tell you that.
- Forgetting the Foresight Gold stepOn Foresight, GSPro needs Foresight+ Gold at $599 a year as well as GSPro's own $250 a year.
- Relying on older guides for SkyTrakOlder reviews say SkyTrak runs E6 and TGC 2019. SkyTrak's current UK membership pages don't mention third-party software, so check before you buy.
Our recommendation
If you want GSPro, E6 and Awesome Golf without a maker's plan, I'd start with the Garmin R50, Mevo Gen2 or Square Golf.
- If you don't want to run a PC
- The Garmin R50, which plays Home Tee Hero on its own screen and also connects to GSPro, E6 and Awesome Golf.
- If you want GSPro on the lowest running cost
- Mevo Gen2 or Square Golf: no maker plan, so you pay only GSPro's $250 a year plus a Windows PC.
- If you want full club data and Foresight's own courses
- A Foresight GC3 or Falcon with a Windows PC, and Foresight+ Gold if you want GSPro too.
- If third-party software is a must and you were looking at SkyTrak
- Check with SkyTrak first, or choose a launch monitor with official Yes cells.

Questions people ask
Does GSPro work with my launch monitor?
GSPro lists 31 officially supported devices. Of ours, that includes the Foresight GC3, GCHawk and Falcon, Full Swing KIT, Garmin R10 and R50, Rapsodo MLM2PRO, Square Golf and OMNI, Uneekor's Eye Mini, Eye Mini Lite, EYE XO2 and EYE XR, and the Mevo Gen2. It needs Windows 10 or 11.
Do I need to pay my launch monitor maker as well as the software?
On some. Foresight puts third-party software in Foresight+ Gold, $599 a year. Uneekor needs Pro or above, from $199 a year per unit. Rapsodo includes it in Premium Membership. Garmin, FlightScope and Square Golf need no maker plan for third-party software.
Which launch monitors work without a PC?
The Garmin R50 runs Home Tee Hero on its own screen. The Garmin R10, Square Golf, Rapsodo MLM2PRO and SkyTrak run their own apps on phones or tablets. The Mevo Gen2 and LaunchBox play E6 courses on iOS. GSPro and Foresight Premier always need a Windows PC.
Does SkyTrak work with GSPro or E6 Connect?
I couldn't confirm it on an official page. SkyTrak isn't on GSPro's or Awesome Golf's lists, and SkyTrak's current UK membership pages only describe its own course play. Ask SkyTrak before you buy if third-party software matters to you.
Can I still buy TGC 2019?
I couldn't find a current official page that sells it. Retailers still list it, but trade reports say ProTee stopped selling it, and Garmin says it does not work with the R50. Uneekor still lists it as supported.
