What is E6 Golf 2026, and what happens to E6 Connect?

Tom Hayward Tom Hayward, founder of OpenGolfer · Last reviewed · 3 min read

The short answer

E6 Golf 2026 is TruGolf's new Windows PC subscription, which TruGolf says replaces and expands on E6 Connect. It needs an RTX 3060 with 12GB and 24GB of memory. E6 Play is $300 and Enjoy $450. E6 Connect is still sold and still bundled with the Mevo Gen2 and LaunchBox, with no end date published.

In summary

E6 Golf 2026 is TruGolf's newest version of its E6 simulator software. TruGolf says it replaces and expands on E6 Connect. It's a Windows PC subscription with a demanding hardware spec, and TruGolf says it works with 19 launch monitors. E6 Connect is still on sale and still works on the launch monitors that include it, but TruGolf hasn't published an end date or explained how existing E6 Connect courses move across. Everything here is from TruGolf's own pages, checked on 6 October 2026.

What E6 Golf 2026 is

TruGolf's help centre describes it as "replacing and expanding on older software like E6 CONNECT" and as "subscription-based software for PCs". Its product page claims:

  • 15,000 courses, with 4K graphics;
  • 49 skills challenges;
  • 19 launch monitor integrations.

You install the E6 Product Launcher from TruGolf's downloads page, and your subscription unlocks features according to its tier. The name has changed more than once: E6 APEX became "E6 by TruGolf" and is now E6 Golf 2026. TruGolf doesn't give a formal release date.

Where it runs, and the PC it needs

TruGolf says E6 Golf 2026 is currently available for Windows PC only. It says mobile and tablet support is updated on its support page, and notes that E6 Connect "previously supported iPad". So for now, if you want E6 on an iPad, that's E6 Connect.

The minimum PC is much stronger than E6 Connect's:

  • Windows 10 64-bit;
  • Intel i7 10th generation or newer;
  • 24GB of memory;
  • an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB of graphics memory;
  • an NVMe SSD (a fast type of solid-state drive).

E6 Connect needed only an Intel i5, 8GB and an Nvidia 1070. The 12GB of graphics memory is the figure to check: many RTX 3060-class cards come with 8GB. Our own gaming PC has 8GB of graphics memory and 16GB of memory, so it doesn't meet this spec. What PC you need compares every program.

Which launch monitors work with it

TruGolf says 19 devices, and names these on its page:

  • TruGolf APOGEE and LaunchBox, which it says are "optimized for the deepest E6 integration";
  • FlightScope;
  • Garmin R10 and R50;
  • Rapsodo;
  • Square Golf;
  • Ditect, VTrack, PiTrac, Impact Vision, GolfJoy, KGolf and Bullseye Golf.

The other five aren't named. Foresight, Full Swing KIT and Uneekor aren't on the named list, so if you have one of those, ask TruGolf or the launch monitor maker before you pay for E6 Golf 2026. Uneekor and Full Swing still list E6 Connect.

What it costs

TruGolf's shop sells E6 subscriptions in US dollars:

  • E6 Play Subscription: $300, with 1,000+ courses, local multiplayer, unlimited player profiles and online stats.
  • E6 Enjoy Subscription: $450, which includes both the Play and Improve subscriptions.

The shop pages don't state the billing period, and the Play course count (1,000+) is lower than the 15,000 on the product page, so check what your tier includes before you buy. TruGolf says subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferable. It publishes no sterling prices.

What happens to E6 Connect

For now, E6 Connect carries on:

  • TruGolf still lists E6 CONNECT Home, with 27 owned courses for 8 players on a PC or iOS.
  • FlightScope's Mevo Gen2 still comes with 8 E6 Connect courses for life, on iOS and PC, with no recurring fee.
  • Our TruGolf LaunchBox ships with E6 CONNECT Home and 30 courses, with no annual subscription.
  • FlightScope's store still sells E6 Connect Basic ($300 a year) and Expanded ($600 a year).

TruGolf hasn't published a date when E6 Connect stops being supported, and I couldn't find anything on whether courses you own in E6 Connect carry across to E6 Golf 2026. If you have a launch monitor that includes E6 Connect, keep using it; nothing on TruGolf's site says it stops working.

What I'd do

If your launch monitor includes E6 Connect, start there: it costs nothing extra and runs on an iPad. Consider E6 Golf 2026 only if you have, or will buy, a PC that meets TruGolf's spec, and your launch monitor is on TruGolf's list. If you're choosing software from scratch, compare it with GSPro and Awesome Golf in GSPro, E6, Awesome Golf and TGC compared.

Best practice

  1. Use the E6 you already haveThe Mevo Gen2 includes 8 E6 Connect courses and the LaunchBox includes E6 CONNECT Home. Play those before buying a subscription.
  2. Check the PC firstE6 Golf 2026 needs 12GB of graphics memory and 24GB of memory. Check both before you subscribe.
  3. Check your launch monitor is listedTruGolf names 14 of its 19 devices. If yours isn't named, ask before you pay.
  4. Confirm what your tier includesPlay lists 1,000+ courses, not 15,000. Check the course count and billing period at checkout.

Gotchas to avoid

  • No iPad version yetTruGolf says E6 Golf 2026 is Windows only for now. On an iPad, you're using E6 Connect.
  • Our gaming PC falls shortOur PC has an 8GB graphics card and 16GB of memory, below E6 Golf 2026's published minimum.
  • Foresight, KIT and Uneekor not namedThey aren't on TruGolf's named list for E6 Golf 2026. Confirm support before paying.
  • Non-refundableTruGolf says subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Our recommendation

Keep using E6 Connect where your launch monitor includes it. Choose E6 Golf 2026 only with a PC that meets TruGolf's spec.

If you have a Mevo Gen2 or LaunchBox
Use the included E6 Connect courses first; they cost nothing extra.
If you play on an iPad
Stay on E6 Connect; E6 Golf 2026 is Windows only for now.
If you have a PC with an RTX 3060 12GB and 24GB
E6 Golf 2026 is an option if your launch monitor is on TruGolf's list.
If you're choosing software from scratch
Compare it with GSPro ($250 a year) and Awesome Golf first.
